Psycho-Sleuth lists five supported languages: English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Korean. Japanese is the only one of the five marked with an asterisk in the supported-languages list, which the game's Steam store page presents alongside the note that asterisked languages include full audio support.

Japanese is the only language flagged for full audio

Japanese alone carries the full-audio marker, while English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Korean do not.

The developers have publicly described the scale of the game's text and voice work. In a September 2026 announcement ahead of launch, they listed over 500,000 characters of script and over 10,000 lines of Japanese voice acting among the game's assets. Those figures are given for the game as a whole, and the store page does not break them down per chapter or per character.

Subtitles, volume and colour options

Steam's feature list for Psycho-Sleuth includes Subtitle Options, Custom Volume Controls, Color Alternatives, and Stereo Sound. The store page does not describe what each of these settings changes in the game's menus, so treat the tags as confirmation that the options are present rather than as a full description of them.

How the English text was reworked

A January 2026 update announced that the English localization had been "fully revamped," with extensive rewriting by native English speakers to improve dialogue flow, character tone, and narrative clarity. Separately, a late November 2025 update stated that all English and Japanese text had been professionally revised for more natural phrasing. You can read that earlier post in the official announcement. A September 2026 demo update then mentioned another round of optimization across all language texts, and noted that community-reported text bugs would be fixed in the full release. The patch notes do not list the individual fixes, so there is no public line-by-line record of what changed.

What the documentation does not cover

A few language details are simply not published. The store page does not say whether the Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, or Korean scripts received the same native-speaker rewriting treatment as the English one, and it lists supported languages as a single group rather than separating interface text from subtitles.

The supported-languages box on the store page is the reference point for the current list, and it presently names exactly the five languages above.
