Psycho-Sleuth Release Date: November 4 or 5, 2026?
Psycho-Sleuth launched in November 2026 on PC. Here's why the Steam page says Nov 4 while announcements say Nov 5, and what the launch included.

When Did Psycho-Sleuth Come Out?

Psycho-Sleuth released on November 5, 2026, though the Steam store page itself lists Nov 4, 2026. The developer's launch announcement, posted on Nov 5, 2026, opens with "Psycho-Sleuth is officially available on Steam today!" An earlier announcement dated Sept 15, 2026 had already stated "Psycho-Sleuth launches November 5, 2026!" So the practical answer for most players is a Windows release on November 5, 2026.
A One-Day Gap Between the Store Page and the Announcements
The store page and the developer's announcements do not give the same date:
- The store page lists Nov 4, 2026 as the release date.
- The launch announcement is dated Nov 5, 2026 and describes the game as available "today."
- An earlier announcement from Sept 15, 2026 had already stated "Psycho-Sleuth launches November 5, 2026!"
Nothing in the announcements explains the one-day gap, so which date reflects the actual store unlock is not documented. Third-party listings use the November 5 date as well: GreenManGaming shows the game as "RELEASED: NOV 05 2026," matching the developer's announcement rather than the Steam store page.
What Shipped at Launch
The release was not just the base game. Alongside it, the developer prepared an official soundtrack and an artbook, and all three were bundled as a Deluxe Edition.
- Psycho-Sleuth (base game) — listed at $17.99 on the US store.
- Psycho-Sleuth Original Soundtrack (OST).
- Psycho-Sleuth Artbook.
- Psycho-Sleuth Deluxe Edition — base game plus OST plus artbook, regular price $35.99, launch price $30.59 at 15 percent off.
The game is a single-player adventure and indie title on Windows, with Steam Achievements, full controller support, Steam Cloud, and Family Sharing among its listed features. Supported languages are English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Korean, with Japanese marked as having full audio support.
The Launch Discount Window
The discount was time-limited rather than permanent. According to the launch announcement, the first 14 days after release covered all editions and DLC at the discounted prices, including the Deluxe Edition's drop from $35.99 to $30.59. If you are reading this well after that window, expect the regular prices to apply unless a later sale says otherwise.
What Came After Release
Two further announcements landed on Nov 5, 2026, the same day as the release post. One set out streaming guidelines: creators are free to publish and monetize video and livestream content without extra authorization, and there are no restrictions on which chapters can be streamed. The developer did make a friendly, explicitly non-mandatory request that VODs of Chapters 4 and 5 be set to private or unlisted before Nov 13, 23:59 (UTC+8), and asked streamers to keep major plot points out of titles and thumbnails.
The other announcement opened the "Pathosync Awakening Project," a fan creation event with two prompt tracks: designing an original character caught up in the Logic Church's Selection, or making fan works featuring the game's existing cast. The demo, meanwhile, was not retired at launch. The developer confirmed it would remain free on Steam after the full release, and that it had been polished with expanded cutscenes, reworked pacing for cases, deduction, combat and story, and additional voice acting.
