Psycho-Sleuth asks for an Intel Core i3, 8 GB of RAM, a GeForce GT 1030 and 10 GB of free space at minimum, running on Windows 7 or higher, according to the official Steam page. The recommended tier lifts the processor to a Core i5, the memory to 16 GB and the storage to 12 GB, but keeps the same GeForce GT 1030 graphics line, so the GPU is the one component both tiers agree on.

Minimum specs

  • OS: Windows 7 or higher
  • Processor: Intel Core i3
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: GeForce GT 1030 or higher
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Storage: 10 GB available space
  • Sound card: DirectX compatible
  • Additional notes: Recommended resolution 1920x1080

A Core i3 with 8 GB of RAM and a low-end discrete card is a modest baseline, and it is the full set of hardware the listing asks for. Alongside the CPU, memory and GPU lines, the tier also specifies DirectX 11, a DirectX compatible sound card, and a recommended display resolution of 1920x1080.

  • OS: Windows 10 or higher
  • Processor: Intel Core i5
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: GeForce GT 1030 or higher
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Storage: 12 GB available space
  • Sound card: DirectX compatible
  • Additional notes: Recommended resolution 1920x1080

The distinguishing detail is that the graphics recommendation does not move at all: the recommended tier asks for the same GeForce GT 1030 as the minimum. What changes is the operating system (Windows 10 or higher), the processor (Core i5), the memory (16 GB) and the storage (12 GB). The DirectX version, sound card line and 1920x1080 resolution note are repeated unchanged.

Storage, resolution, and Windows version

The two storage figures are 10 GB at minimum and 12 GB recommended. Both tiers carry the same note about a recommended resolution of 1920x1080, and neither lists a different target.

The OS split is worth reading line by line. The minimum entry says Windows 7 or higher, while the recommended entry says Windows 10 or higher — so the more generous operating system line sits in the recommended tier, not the minimum one.

Features and supported languages

The Steam listing covers Single-player, Steam Achievements, Full controller support, Steam Cloud and Family Sharing, and files the game under the Adventure and Indie genres. Accessibility-minded options include Color Alternatives, Custom Volume Controls, Adjustable Difficulty, a Keyboard Only Option, a Mouse Only Option, Playable without Timed Input, Save Anytime, Stereo Sound and Subtitle Options.

Supported languages are English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Korean, with Japanese carrying full audio support. Input flexibility is broad: a developer announcement dated September 17, 2026 confirmed that controller support had gone live and that the game was fully compatible with Steam Deck.

For the shape of the game itself, Adventure Game Hotspot catalogues Psycho-Sleuth as a first-person, point-and-click visual novel with deduction and minigames, set on PC under a mystery genre.

Price and release

Psycho-Sleuth is listed at $17.99 on the US Steam store. According to Green Man Gaming, the retailer also shows $17.99, with a $19.99 price struck through beside it.

The release date is one point where the paperwork disagrees with itself. The Steam store listing gives November 4, 2026, while the developer's own release announcement, published on November 5, 2026, says the game launches November 5 and is available on Steam that day. Green Man Gaming likewise lists the release as November 5, 2026. No announcement has reconciled the two dates, so treat the exact day as unsettled.

The game is developed by PHOSEPO, with Thermite Games and Smilegate listed as publishers. The developer's release announcement also states that the demo remains available on Steam for free even after the full release, and that it was reworked with additional cutscene content, re-paced cases and some new voice acting rather than being left as it was.
