Psycho-Sleuth Characters: The 13 Afflicted Ones
Officially named Psycho-Sleuth characters, the 13 Afflicted Ones and their cognitive disorders, and how the cast shapes each murder case.

Who are the Afflicted Ones?

Psycho-Sleuth is built around 13 "Afflicted Ones": people with rare cognitive disorders who are summoned by a mysterious cult named "Li" for a cruel trial. Its rule is simple: commit a murder without being exposed and you ascend to godhood. According to the Steam store page, each of the 13 bears a distinct disorder and a unique "Afflicted Power", and their warped perceptions spread to others, creating murder scenes that defy reason. Understanding their minds is the key to uncovering their crimes and motives.
Officially named characters
The developers' fan creation event announcement lists the characters fans can feature in their work, which "include, but are not limited to":
| # | Character |
|---|---|
| 1 | Lyle |
| 2 | Lena |
| 3 | Eirys |
| 4 | Fayse |
| 5 | Raze |
| 6 | Silas |
| 7 | Cotari |
| 8 | Hyper |
| 9 | Elian |
| 10 | Kizuna |
| 11 | Alice |
| 12 | The Proxy |
The list ends with "Believers, and more". Lyle is the focus of a limited-time side story about a mysterious childhood drawing, which the developers announced for Steam Mystery Fest.
Cognitive disorders that reshape each murder
The store page describes how the cast's disorders distort the crime scenes:
| Disorder | What it does to a case |
|---|---|
| OCD | Forces absolute truth, so no one can lie |
| Spatial neglect | Erases evidence from the left side of reality |
| Prosopagnosia | Blurs every face into anonymity |
| Alien Limb Syndrome | Leaves a corpse with severed limbs in doubt: murder, or a victim of their own disorder? |
When the culprit is revealed, they face a punishment shaped by their own cognitive disorder.
How the cast is presented
All 13 main characters have Live2D animation, according to the developers' September 15, 2026 announcement, which also lists 40 CGs and more than 10,000 lines of Japanese voice acting. Of the five languages listed on the store page, Japanese is the one marked with full audio support.
Keeping character talk spoiler-free
Each character's disorder is tied to their crimes and motives, so saying who carries which disorder can spoil a case. The developers' streaming guidelines ask creators to keep recordings of Chapters 4 and 5 private or unlisted until November 13, 23:59 (UTC+8), and to keep major plot points out of titles and thumbnails afterward. When you discuss a character, name the chapter you have reached and add a spoiler warning.
